Your library stays on this device

Game titles, ratings, notes, comparisons, scoring preferences, local artwork, and backup contents stay in this browser profile. Pixelog does not send them through site analytics.

Persistent browser storage can reduce automatic eviction, but it does not replace a portable backup.

Anonymous site traffic

Pixelog temporarily uses both Umami Cloud and Vercel Web Analytics so production page counts can be compared. They use no Pixelog account or analytics cookie. Do Not Track is respected by Umami, and query strings and URL fragments are excluded.

Umami receives page views and only these event names: site_opened, game_searched, game_added, rating_started, rating_saved, rating_context_viewed, share_card_opened, share_card_downloaded, share_card_copied, share_card_shared, share_card_exported, feedback_opened, and their approved first-use milestones. Game discovery terms are counted separately on the server without visitor identifiers. Pixelog sends no local library content, score, note, ID, or provider reference in analytics. Session replay, heatmaps, identification, and performance collection are disabled.

Vercel remains limited to anonymous page and route data, referrer, coarse location, browser, operating system, device type, and event time. It receives no Pixelog custom events.

Game metadata is requested only when you ask

Search text and selected IGDB game IDs leave this device only when you search for a game or refresh library metadata. Your library records and personal rating data are not sent to IGDB.

Displayed IGDB covers load through Pixelog's same-origin image optimizer. Your browser no longer contacts the IGDB image host directly. Pixelog's hosting provider may cache the requested public cover by its IGDB image identifier.

Feedback opens on Tally

Send feedback opens the published Tally form in a new tab. Pixelog sends no library state to that link and tracks only the payload-free feedback_opened event. Pixelog does not observe the form response. Do not paste private notes or backup contents into the form.
